How to merge several PDFs into one

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to any server?
No. The merge happens entirely in your browser with JavaScript (the pdf-lib library). Your PDFs never leave your device, so it stays private even for sensitive documents.
Is there a watermark or a file limit?
No. The resulting PDF carries no watermark and you can merge as many files as you want. Because the whole process is local, there are no server-imposed size limits; the only practical limit is your device's memory.
Can I change the order of the PDFs?
Yes. Drag each file into place or use the ↑ and ↓ arrows to reorder them. The number on the left shows the order they will be merged in; the pages within each PDF keep their original order.
Is the quality of the documents preserved?
Yes. Pages are copied as-is, without re-compression, so text, images and vectors keep their original quality. Merging neither shrinks nor enlarges the size beyond combining the content.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
No. If a PDF is encrypted with a password, the tool detects it and skips it, because its content cannot be read without the key. Remove the protection first and add it again.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, all the merging happens locally, so it works without internet.
