No. All the editing happens in your browser with JavaScript (the pdf.js and pdf-lib libraries). Your PDFs never leave your device, so it stays private even for sensitive documents, and it works offline once the page has loaded.

You can reorganize the document at the page level (reorder by dragging, rotate, duplicate, delete, extract a selection and merge several PDFs into one) and edit the content of a page: edit the existing text, add new text, sign (by drawing your signature or uploading it as an image) and insert images, placing them and adjusting their size. All in your browser.

We detect the text blocks on the page and let you edit them; when you save, we cover the original text with a rectangle in the background color and redraw the new text on top. We’re honest about its limits: it works best on a solid background, the font is an approximation (Helvetica), it does not reflow paragraphs and the original text stays in the file under the patch. It does not edit scanned PDFs (no text layer).

Yes. Select the page, press “Edit page” and then “Sign”: draw your signature with the mouse or your finger, or upload an image of your signature. Place it wherever you want and adjust its size; when you download, it is baked into the PDF. It is a visible (handwritten) signature; it is not a cryptographic digital signature (PAdES/certificate). Since everything is local, your signature is never uploaded to any server.

Yes. In “Edit page”, use “Add text” to write new text wherever you want (you choose the size and color; the font is Helvetica) and “Image” to insert an image (a stamp or a logo, for example). Drag each element to move it and use the corner handle to resize images. Nothing is uploaded: images are processed in your browser.

Yes. To merge, load several PDFs at once and download the full result. To split or extract, select the pages you want (by clicking them) and use “Extract selection” to download them as a separate file.

Each thumbnail has buttons to rotate (↻), duplicate (⧉) and delete (✕) that page. If you want to act on several at once, click them to select them and use the buttons in the top bar (rotate, duplicate or delete the selection).

No. Pages are copied as-is, without re-compression, so text, images and vectors keep their original quality. Thumbnails are generated only for previewing; the final PDF uses the original pages.

Not with encrypted ones: if a PDF is password-protected, the browser cannot read its content and the tool skips it. Remove the protection first and load it again.

There are no watermarks. Because the whole process is local, there are no server-imposed limits; the only practical limit is your device's memory (that's why we cap the number of pages loaded at once so your browser stays smooth).
